For 8mm film transfers our telecine system captures every single frame of your 8mm Film into a computer, which then processes the sequence to play at standard TV frame rates with added smoothness. The system supports Standard 8 and Super 8 cine film formats.
The process we use on your cine eliminates jitter and flicker usually associated with the standard method of transferring 8mm film to dvd and is considered a close approximation to the high grade Rank film transfers, so your 8mm film transfers to dvd as a very accurate digital copy of your original.
You can also have your transfered 8mm film saved as a compatible file format for editing in many of the common video editing applications such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Sony Vegas etc. You can then create a wonderful montage of memories for the entire families viewing pleasure or great as a very personal gift.
We can also handle your old film slides, so you can transfer slides to DVD for easier access and as a backup of the original slides. We accept most types of standard format film slides, Kodak, Fuji, Hanimex etc but please call to verify slide sizes as some do differ depending on age.
